My surf experience in Bali

One of the reasons why I really wanted to come to Bali was my life long dream of wanting to try surfing. I somehow had a really strong feeling that I would really love it since it combines so many elements that I enjoy. Pretty soon after I had arrived in Bali, I organized myself a lesson at the Serangan beach. Because it was something new to me, I was a bit nervous, but at the same time could not wait to get into the water.
After the first lesson, I was immediately hooked. I was able to ride small waves, and if I would have not been so exhausted I think I would stayed in the water the whole day. From then on, I have been surfing whenever possible, and enjoying and improving more and more. It is just so much fun for me – being in the water the whole day while the sun is shining, and getting excited over every single ride. I could not imagine a better way to spend a day off.
If you have always wanted to try out surfing, or you surf already, I can highly recommend coming to Bali. The great thing about Bali is that there are so many different kind of locations for all levels, so you will always find a place where you can surf and have a great time. Varying from Serangan and Dreamland that are more suitable for beginners, to locations such as Uluwatu for more advanced surfers. There is no doubt that you will find breathtaking locations with great waves.
