Pop Up Yoga Bali Retreat with Angelica Olstad comes to Floating Leaf Eco-Retreat January 22-31, 2014

Balinese Hindu Prayer

A Balinese Hindu elder offers her prayers at a temple ceremony in Bali

Angelica and the team of Pop Up Yoga NYC are thrilled to offer their first destination yoga retreat in Bali. This unique one of a kind retreat brings the Pop Up Yoga style to a whole new level. Where most retreats focus on advanced poses this retreat is designed for beginners and yoga enthusiasts alike. Classes will focus on learning basic anatomy necessary for building strong technique for a solid foundation in developing their own yoga practice. Each class will focus on acceptance, mindfulness, and empowerment based off of scientifically proven methods and research. Of course, no retreat would be complete without the option of scuba diving, surfing, or partaking in Balinese ritual healing ceremonies for those who are interested.

In addition to daily classes, there will be a day of service where members of the retreat will give back to the Bali community. It is our hope that this retreat will offer a life changing opportunity to experience a vibrant and rich culture, gain a deeper understanding of yoga, and have a renewed sense of purpose, perspective, and practical skills for improving overall health and wellness in everyday life.
