Maria Baltazzi is an Emmy award-winning TV producer. She was one of the original show producers on CBS’ long-running hit series, Survivor. A lover of travel, she has produced and developed throughout the world for National Geographic, A&E, CBS, Discovery, ESPN, History, Lifetime, TNT and Travel.
In 2005, her journeys turned more inwards when she began her on-going studies in the field of Happiness, which led to becoming a meditation teacher and developing what Maria considers the 8 key elements to creating a happy life. Her studies have included coursework in the Science of Happiness as well as the Science of Thinking. She is a certified Chopra Center Primordial Sound Meditation teacher. Follows The Course of Miracles through Marianne Williamson. Has studied spiritual psychology and philosophy as well. She reads constantly, from science to the spiritual, about the subject of happiness. It was always Maria’s desire to share her experience and knowledge with others through her recently formed company, Picture Happiness: Take a Shot.
Maria has entered marathons on all seven continents as a way to raise money for various charities. Her seventh continent marathon was in Antarctica of 2015, after which she launched a philanthropic expedition company, called Sojourn Explorers with the intention of giving people the opportunity to travel to incredible places while supporting worthy causes.
