A mind, body, breath connection and spiritual component are woven together within a tapestry of creatively and intelligently sequenced sessions in Erica’s yoga retreats. Often described as a balance of sweet and spicy, Erica offers a quietly disciplined and organized approach to breath, alignment and meditation while opening the space for each yogi to listen to their prana (energy) and practice intuitively. Chill beats, traditional yoga music and the sounds of nature mix with the flow of each class. Anyone who loves hatha yoga and vinyasa yoga will enjoy diving deeper with Erica’s guidance for a truly transformative and spiritual experience. This sun-worshipping nature lover and fan of Marvel Comics tv series loves to lead beautiful retreats wherein she guides each participant on a path of increased peace and healing, joy and freedom, healing rituals and deep inner awe.
Erica is a self-taught yogini with a Fine Arts Degree from the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston. She has both a 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher training certification from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA. When Erica’s not immersed in teaching, she enjoys relaxing in nature, selling her organic essential oil blends on Etsy and spending time with her dog and her loved ones. She has served as faculty for a number of teacher trainings, including several Kripalu School of Yoga 200-hour trainings and is currently a lead faculty for Hudson Yoga Project’s 200-hour yoga teacher training. Erica guides weekly yoga classes in New York and New Jersey, as well as monthly workshops and yearly retreats throughout the Northeast and internationally. She has a great deal of gratitude for her teachers who are too many to name, but whom possess the admirable traits of integrity, kindness and compassion.
