Todays Bali Photo is from Pura Ulun Danu Bratan and pictures a holy man or Pendanda (also spelled Pedanda). A Pendanda is a Brahamana High Priest in Balinese Hinduism and performs ceremonies and rituals in his or her village and at temples. There are also Pemangku which are the priests affiliated with a specific temple.

We work with a couple local Pendanda and Pemangku when a ceremony is required for Floating Leaf (which is more often than you might think). We also use their services during our Wellness and Yoga Retreats to perform cleansing and purification ceremonies and rituals.
