Floating Leaf takes shape ~ Yoga center, villas and spas are all underway
After a successful stint in California, we are overjoyed to be back home in Bali. Having had the opportunity to visit the Floating Leaf construction site a couple times, we could not be happier with the progress and the look of the buildings. Each time we have visited the site, there have been tourists already photographing Floating Leaf. It has been such a treat to meet and speak with them and feel their excitement for the project and the environmental initiatives being constructed. We have hit the ground running and there has not been much time for photography, but I wanted to share one image I captured yesterday with the impressive NEX-7 mirrorless camera Sony so kindly sent to me (full review coming once I have had the chance to put this amazing camera through its paces- but I can tell you this technology will change the landscape of photography).

Set in lush fields of various crops, Floating Leaf’s open design allows nature and Bali’s landscape to be seen through the facility and villa bedrooms. The floor of the large yoga hall has just been completed and a team of Bali’s finest artisans will begin work on the massive signature Floating Leaf roof. One of the spas can be seen all the way to the right of the structure and four of the six villa bedrooms are on the left.
