It’s not just a vacation. It’s rejuvenation. It’s about you.
In addition to a beautiful resort, delicious food and gracious hosts, this yoga rejuvenation retreat will help students deepen their own understanding of yoga and find their personal practice. What’s individual and unique about the practice and the body is often lost in group classes. In this intimate retreat, gain a clear awareness of what’s sustainable and even regenerative from the teacher and the community of students. There’s no right or wrong. There is safe and unsafe. Each day includes vigorous ashtanga asana, meditation and restorative yoga to create strong and healthy habits that can be applied in any yoga experience. Take the practice off the mat with healthy eating, spa sessions and personal time to relax.
New to yoga? Coming back to the mat? Experienced yogi? All are welcome.

About Nadine Johnson
Nadine Johnson lives in her hometown, San Francisco, working, volunteering and teaching yoga while maintaining a strong practice and balanced life. Patience and inward focus have been key elements of her practice for almost 20 years, which is grounded in Ashtanga Yoga as taught by the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in India. Nadine came to yoga while working in a competitive corporate environment. The practice made both her work and personal life more creative and more enjoyable.
Experience clear and concise direction in Nadine’s classes. Helping students discover their own inner strength intelligently and with Ahimsa (non-violence) is a key element of the practice. “That’s the first time I ever…” and “I didn’t think I could but I…” are the beginnings of common phrases and praise heard from her students. She inspires her students to develop a safe and sustainable lifelong practice, as she has done for herself. Ashtanga, restorative and other forms of yoga are offered.
Nadine has completed certified trainings with Clayton Horton at Greenpath Yoga, David Swenson and the Advanced Teacher Training Program at YogaWorks. As a 500hr E-RYT certified teacher, she also continues her education through workshops and trainings with senior teachers such as David Williams, Richard Freeman, Jonny Kest, Ana Forrest and Sarah Powers. Nadine also teaches girls in Juvenile Justice Center in San Francisco for the Art of Yoga Project. You can learn more by visiting her website.
