RETREAT DETAILS

Learn how to move beyond the boundaries through our daily rituals of movement, yoga and breath work. These practices within this very special retreat, are carefully curated for you to discover joy waiting for you on the other side.

Through the practices of movement, recognize the patterns the body holds and shift the energies to both liberate and manifest something new. Dive into breath work to help release old habitual patterns. Both will complement the practice of yoga that will build strength and stamina to harness the new energies you create.

When you return home, feel more joyful and grounded with a clearer sense of knowing who you are, what you want from life, and the belief that it is all possible.

ABOUT YOUR RETREAT LEADER

Phoebe comes from a strong movement background. She received her BFA in Modern Dance from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she studied technique, anatomy, kinesiology, and pedagogy. As a professional dancer in New York City, her studies continued and she earned her Pilates certification from the Kane School of Core Integration, 500 hour Certification (ERYT500) under the guidance of her mentor Jeanmarie Paolillo from YogaWorks and Restorative/Therapeutics training with Jillian Pransky from YogaWorks.

Phoebe has taught at various studios/programs in New York City since 2002 and the Hudson Valley since 2010.

She founded and directed the yoga program, Yoga at the Roundhouse as part of the boutique hotel, The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls in Beacon, NY. In 2014, she founded nOMad always at OM that brings new experiences on and off the mat to yogis at nOMad’s Online Studio, on yoga retreats, and at community events. Her mission through nOMad is to give her students the tools to live a fuller life with more joy, gratitude, confidence, and connection.

Phoebe finds gratitude in the magical, simple, and even the tragic moments in life. She sees that all of these are gifts from the universe to guide us in the dis-covering of our deepest treasures and desires. Some have said Phoebe leads a life full of alchemy, creating something out of nothing but the reality of it is we all have this power. If we take time to step back, look a little closer at our road maps of life, observe all of our interconnectedness, and dig a little deeper, we all have the power to attract the magic of life.

Phoebe’s classes focus on the importance of alignment, breath, and mindfulness. Through her teaching of asana in a supportive and playful atmosphere, students gain a more profound understanding of their own body and mind. Phoebe demonstrates that with practice, patience, courage, and compassion, yoga can open a world of greater possibilities and deepen the connection to one’s core being.
